What is the deal with Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage?

http://letfreedomrain.blogspot.com/2009/05/michael-weiner-savage-vsrush-limbaugh.html

From the source listed above: "Poor Michael Weiner isn't getting much help from the wingnuts in the media over his being banned from the UK."

SAVAGE: "And yet here in America, I've had some people come to my aid. They see the bigger picture. They're not like [Bill] O'Reilly; they're not like Limbaugh, who's the biggest disappointment of all. Limbaugh has turned out to be the biggest phony of all of them, all of them. Amongst all of them, he is the biggest fraud. Rush Limbaugh is a fraud. When he was accused of the drug usage, I supported him. But that man is a one-way street. It's all about him. He's in it for nobody but himself."

KISH: Rush isn't mentioning Savage for one or more of a handful of reasons.
1) He doesn't know about the ban. Impossible, it's been all over the media and debated on the floor of the British parliament.
2) He has a personal or professional grievance against Michael (Savage) Weiner.
3) He doesn’t want to bring attention to his media rival. That could pull listeners from Rush to the Savage Nation.
4) He has business agreements with Mark Levin and/or Fox and/or Shawn Hannity who have competing time slots… Agreements to promote their shows over Savage.
5) Savage and Limbaugh have an off-the-air agreement to separate themselves from each other while on the air. Either for strategic political reasons or to further confuse and stir up the Left... If this is possible.

He clearly wants to separate himself from Savage. Otherwise, he would have mentioned the story as soon as it broke and most likely would have supported Savage in his battles against the British Left.

Why do you think that he is not mentioning it? Please comment.

Sig Sauer Secures $306 Million Pistol Contract for U.S. Army

Written by Tactical-Life.com. Author Archive »

EXETER, NH (April 28, 2009) SIG SAUER, Inc. announced today that it has secured a multi-year contract to provide pistols to the U.S. Army’s Material Command. The potential value for all quantities and the related customer support package is $306 million. The initial order of 55,890 units is to be released as the standard sidearm for the entire Colombian National Police force. Shipments are to begin immediately with a second release of 42,000 pistols to follow.

Ron Cohen, President and CEO, stated that he is proud that SIG SAUER’s long standing reputation for superior reliability and quality has been recognized with this exceptional contract. Moreover, it provides an opportunity for SIG SAUER to continue to expand its manufacturing facilities and create U.S. jobs at a time when other companies are downsizing and exporting jobs overseas. Mr. Cohen further stated that the breadth of SIG customers is evidence of the worldwide acceptance and demand for SIG SAUER products. These customers include numerous elite law enforcement, military, and government agencies (e.g. the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Secret Service, Navy Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS), U.S. Navy SEALs, U.S. Air Force OSI, British SAS, French National Police, and the Colombian National Police).

Employing over 350 skilled workers at its Exeter, NH facility, the company has been on a continuous program of expansion and growth. State-of-the-art automated machines now populate the majority of the facility, the result of over $30 million dollars invested over the past four years.

Socialism - Plain and Simple

An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class.

That class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said ok, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism. All grades would be averaged, and everyone would receive the same grade. So no one student would fail, and no one student would receive an A. After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.

The students who studied hard were upset, and the students who studied little were happy. But, as the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less. And the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too, so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame, and name calling all resulted in hard feelings. No one would study for the benefit of anyone else. All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor explained to them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great; but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. Could not be any simpler than that....

How To Troubleshoot Problems With Your Blog

http://blogging.nitecruzr.net/2008/09/troubleshooting-problems-with-your-blog.html

I was recently criticized for being "negative" in my speech and thinking.

Well, right now, I have to agree with this criticism.

I am negative.

I am not going to be happy until each and every elected official meets the following criteria:

1) Qualified to meet the duties of his or her position.
2) Believes wholeheartedly in Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
3) Constantly acts to uphold the principles of the Declaration of Independence.
4) Constantly acts to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

My friends, it seems right now that I am destined to be negative for the rest of my life.
