Can you remember innocence?

Photo of innocence by Avalore
Do you remember your childhood? Can you remember a time when you were innocent? Think – way back – as far back as you can. Think of your care free days. Your first days to explore the sharp green grass of the yard, the bottomless mud of the garden after a soaking rain, the mysterious slender trees of the woods out back. Place yourself back there – a new child of this world – a yet unblemished creation of God - innocent. A child willing to learn – willing to do – willing and obedient to your loving parents - pure and good. Think long and hard about this place. Was it a good place? Even with the fears of the vast unknown, did you feel good about life? Did you feel as if you belonged? Would you like to feel this way again? You can go back to this place today – it doesn’t matter how old you are. It doesn’t matter what has happened in your life. It doesn’t matter how you have been jaded by this world. It doesn’t matter what you have done in the long time since your innocence. You can return to be the person that God always wanted you to be.
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn! This is not a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan – this rebirth comes from God. John 1:12-13

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. 1 John 1:9
If you seek to return to this place of innocence and experience this new birth for yourself - learn the four spiritual laws. The most important part of this learning is to speak (with your voice – out loud) the prayer presented after the fourth law. If you truly want your innocence back, God will provide.

Here are the four spiritual laws – follow THIS LINK.
