Eyewitness Spoof Links Chertoff Body Scanners to Underwear Bomber Plot

Last Christmas, Attorney Kurt Haskell and his wife were returning from Amsterdam on Northwest Airlines Flight 253 bound for Detroit. Shortly before landing, a lunatic terrorist (seated a few rows in front of the Haskell's) decided to ignite a package of explosives which he had allegedly hidden in the crotch of his pants. A hero dubbed The Flying Dutchman hurled himself onto the would-be bomber and extinguished the fire with his bare hands. The lives of everyone on the plane were saved and The Department of Homeland Security claimed "the system worked". -- This is popular legend of The Underwear Bomber. A legend which, in less than a year, has heralded the roll out of radiating full naked body scanners, enhanced "groping" pat downs, and serious repercussions including fines and arrest for those who do not submit. This, in turn, has led to a widespread media frenzy and public backlash. The latest salvo in the saga appears to be a new TSA administrative directive calling for opt-outers to be considered "Domestic Extremists".

Within all of this appears to be lost - the amazing story of the Haskell's as documented in the following articles.

And now - victim turned activist Kurt Haskell shares his research and views in a newly-released spoof video embedded below. As you watch, keep in mind that Haskell, his wife and the remainder of the 278 passengers and 11 crew would have been blown out of the sky if the bombing was successful. To say he is motivated to reveal the truth would be an understatement. Kurt Haskell appears to be on a mission to understand and expose the entire story of the ordeal.

Michael Chertoff Wikipedia excerpts-
Michael Chertoff was the second United States Secretary of Homeland Security under President George W. Bush and co-author of the USA PATRIOT Act. He also co-founded the Chertoff Group, a risk management and security consulting company, which employs several senior officials from his time as Secretary of Homeland Security as well as Michael Hayden, a former Director of the National Security Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency. Chertoff has been an advocate of full body scanners at airports. In 2010 it emerged that Rapiscan Systems, a manufacturer of this technology, was a client of his security consulting firm, the Chertoff Group. He has come under a lot of pressure from fellow republicans for alleged corruption in that he was profiting from the sale of security equipment, which he advocated for, while Secretary of Homeland Security during the Bush presidency.

Some astute citizens, even without the Haskell and Chertoff information, are beginning to make connections like the following (posted by message board member pizzaman)-
Something occurred to me about these new TSA screening machines and pat-downs. If either the 'shoe-bomber' or the 'underwear-bomber', or both, had been successful we wouldn't have known how the bomb was smuggled on board. All the evidence would be pulverized. However, both of them 'failed' and we were able to catch them. Now we have all these new intrusive policies. Awfully convenient for the enemies.
Another thing, now that we are in the 21st century, aren't there better ways to stealthily ignite a bomb than a fuse you have to manually light with matches. They were both caught while trying to light their 'clothing bombs'. Seems to me, if you wanted to successfully blow up a plane, there are better ways to do it. If you want to affect screening policy, you set up a couple of 'failed' bombings.
In other words, I think both of those 'failed' bombings were set-ups to be caught.
The story of the Haskell's may be lost and obscured - but it's not going away.  That is - until the DHS completes its shutdown of the internet or Congress beats them to it. See the story "Congress Back To Censoring Internet" and sign the petition while you still can.
